He later moved to Medina, Saudi Arabia, where he worked in the maintenance and repair of equipment from globally recognized concrete pump brands such as Schwing and Putzmeister. During this period, he gained valuable hands-on experience and established strong business connections in the region.

After four years of international experience, he returned to Türkiye and founded Cobanoglu Automotive in a modest 48 m² workshop, focusing on producing spare parts for the Middle Eastern market.

The company moved to a 500 m² production area in Anadolu Industry with expanding machinery and manufacturing capacity.

Over the years, driven by technological development and an export-oriented growth strategy, Çobanoğlu Otomotiv increased its production capacity and moved to a new 2,000 m² factory in the Büsan Organized Industrial Zone. During this period, the company expanded its export network to 23 countries.

Strengthening its commitment to quality standards, Çobanoğlu Otomotiv obtained the ISO 9001:2005 Quality Management System Certification, issued by TÜV Germany.

Continuing its growth journey towards becoming a globally recognized brand, the company moved its production operations in 2016 to a new 20,000 m² factory complex in the Konya Organized Industrial Zone, equipped with modern production machinery and advanced technologies.

As its global recognition continued to grow, the company established CBO Industry, positioned as a global brand to support its export activities and strengthen its presence in international markets.

By this stage, the company had become a major production hub exporting to more than 60 countries. Taking further steps to expand its presence across distant markets, CBO LATAM S.A.S. was established in Bogotá, Colombia, with the aim of expanding operations and strengthening the customer network across Latin America.

With the goal of serving the European market more actively, CBO Europe GmbH was established in Stuttgart, Germany, in 2021. With its 650 m² factory outlet, the company began providing closer and more efficient service to customers across Europe.

In response to growing global demand following the COVID-19 pandemic, CBO Industry decided to expand into machine manufacturing and began producing trailer-mounted concrete pumps under the TOMA® Concrete Pumps brand.

CBO HK started remote operations in Hong Kong to support customers by sourcing and supplying cost-effective products from CBO’s preferred supplier network, offering flexible and alternative purchasing solutions.

CBO Industry obtained its new ISO 9001:2015 certification through an accredited organization in Türkiye.

In the same year, CBO Industry launched its carbon footprint monitoring initiative to track operational emissions and reduce its environmental impact in line with its sustainability objectives. As part of its compliance with the European Union's Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM), the company partnered with Konya Karbon, implemented an active emissions monitoring system, and completed its Carbon Footprint and CBAM assessment reports.
